Our clients are seeing that “normal hours” don’t really matter, as long as the work is done. Who cares if you do the work at 2am, when you feed and diaper the baby? As long as the project, paper, spreadsheet is ready when needed, it is no big deal. Research shows that more work is done at home than at the office-- you should be able to get some work done when the 4 year old is down for a nap in the afternoon? Managers who have to know what an employee is doing every second is a luddite-- don’t worry about time, worry about the quality of the work product. The time will take care of itself.
